1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of Squish Pals at squishpals.net (the "game") and any purchases made in it. Squish Pals is made and run by Mahesh Umagiliya, Colombo, Sri Lanka ("we", "us"). Contact: mahesh.tstreet@gmail.com. By using the game you agree to these terms. If a child plays, a parent or guardian should read them.

2. The game

Squish Pals is a free browser game for children. No account is needed. Game progress is saved only in the browser on your device, and we can't recover it if browser data is cleared.

3. Optional purchases

Parents and guardians can buy optional packs of exclusive in-game characters. Prices are in US dollars and are shown in the game's Rare Shop before checkout:

• Purchases must be made by an adult (18 or over). The shop asks a grown-up question before showing any payment option.
• Each purchase is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions and no random or chance-based items.
• Payments are processed by our online reseller and merchant of record, Creem, which handles payment, billing and sales tax. Its own terms also apply to the payment.
• After payment you receive a license key by email. Entering it in the game unlocks the pack for personal, non-commercial use on up to 5 of your household's devices. Please don't share or resell your key.
• Exclusive squishies change how the game looks and sounds. They don't give an advantage, and every other squishy can be earned for free by playing.

4. Refunds

If a pack doesn't work, or was bought by mistake, email mahesh.tstreet@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your order email and we'll give you a full refund. Once refunded, the license key stops working. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

5. Fair use

Please don't try to break, copy, resell or misuse the game, its characters, artwork or music, or anyone else's license key. Squish Pals, its characters, artwork and music are our original work.

6. Changes and availability

We may update the game and these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. We aim to keep the game available but can't promise it will always be online or error-free. If we ever close the game, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on this page, and refunds for packs bought in the 30 days before closing.

7. Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the game or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
